The village of Sag Harbor has been around since the early 1800s and is home to many charming restaurants and shops. Locals enjoy great food at places like Sen seafood restaurant or a variety of seafood dishes from Loaves & Fishes Food Store. During the summer months, visitors can take advantage of Sag Harbor's beachfront area with activities such as swimming, sailing, fishing or just relaxing in the sun. Other activities include golfing at Montauk Downs State Park and biking or walking along one of the many trails that run through town. There are also many year-round outdoor activities such as camping at Mashomack Preserve or hiking up Mt Beacon for breathtaking views of Long Island Sound. Additionally, local organizations such as YMCA East Hampton RECenter offer basketball courts, pools for swimming lessons, soccer fields and more! Popular sports events throughout the year include softball tournaments held by Sag Harbor Little League or high school football games between rival teams such as Westhampton Beach vs Center Moriches High School.

If you're a tourist I reccomend this town over the Hamptons any day. Stop in at the Corner Bar for a beer and their amazing buffalo shrimp, french dip, or muscles. Find  More

Sag Harbor was a beautiful peaceful place to live and raise a family.It was the unhamptons.We liked it that way.Then came the citidiots and hollywood.The prices  More
